Our pricing feature provided for quoting of the cleaning of your home is based on the cost of an average home based on the provided criteria. Our contractors can provide a revised estimate if it is determined that the conditions on site are not within the average (e.g. smaller or larger homes. Larger amount of clutter or soiled surfaces, excessive grime or hard water stains)
Please be advised that our contractors assume no liability for damage or loss of items that are not properly secured or are already damaged prior to cleaning. For example, heavy pictures held on wall by thumbtacks, floating shelves, items of sentimental or monetary value (we recommend these be stored away or cleaned by the home owner). All surfaces are assumed to be properly secured and sealed and ready to be cleaned with common house hold cleaning equipment.
Please note that exact arrival time is difficult to commit to due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic. As such, our contractors do not guarantee exact arrival times. In place of this, a 1 to 2 hour arrival window is provided.
In a case where you or a member of your family is ill or has a contagious illness, please notify us no later than 7:30am on the day of your cleaning so that our contractors may take appropriate precaution and determine if a reschedule is needed. Our contractors will also notify for a reschedule in a case where they are ill.
Please note that due to health reasons, our contractors may choose not to clean up bio-hazardous material.
In a case where you prefer for our contractors to use your provided material, they are happy to oblige instead of using their own appropriate equipment and cleaning supplies. Please note that the use of your provided equipment and supply may void their 24-hour guarantee.
Our Contractors need to be able to work without distraction and freely. Every effort is made to work safely and cautiously. However, they cannot assume liability for the safety of others while cleaning your home. This includes children and pets. Please note that if our contractors are subject to distractions that affect their ability to work in their normal fashion and speed, our contractors reserve the right to charge for extra time spent in the home.
Please note that if for any reason a contractor working through OC Sparkling Maids referral agency feels their personal safety is in danger enough to leave the cleaning location due to actions of the customer or guests of the customer or others at the cleaning location, the OC Sparkling Maids referral agency customer will still be liable for the full cost of the job.
Our cleaning contractors are professionals at the work they do and while they will make every attempt to clean a location, there may be some areas that might require multiple cleaning sessions before the damage done can be rectified. In these extreme cases of clutter or damage, our contractors reserve the right to skip these areas in order to avoid damaging the area or items or hurting themselves
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. While our agency and contractors do no offer refunds on services that have been provided, our contractors will return and re-clean any areas of concern reported to us within 48hours of our cleaning free of charge.
OC Sparkling Maids referral agency reserves the right to re-evaluate and/or change the Service Agreement and/or policies at any time
Your Home – Their workplace
OSHA requires employers to ensure the safety of all contractors in the work environment. In the following these requirements, our agency ask that you assist in ensuring that our contractors have the following as require by OSHA
– Appropriate footwear – OSHA requires that appropriate footwear is to be worn at all times where there is a risk of foot injuries from hot, slippery, corrosive, poisonous substances, falling objects, crushing or penetrating actions. Shoes should be enclosed and have non clip soles
– Making sure all rooms are well ventilated so that contractor may avoid working with strong chemicals in poorly ventilated rooms
– Maintaining a proper temperature in the home. OSHA recommends temperature controls in the range of 68-76 degrees F and humidity controls in the range of 20 – 60%
– Rest periods – every contractor is entitled to 10 minute of rest for every 4 hours of work
